Privacy Policy

Core Image2Tool tools — including AI background removal, compression, resize, crop, convert, HEIC to JPG, and browser enlarge — run entirely in your browser. Your original image file is not uploaded to our servers for that processing. Model weights and scripts may be downloaded to your device so inference can run locally. We do not use your images to train any model.

Optional account features (for example sign-in or future server-side options) may send only the data needed for that feature. Any such server path will be labeled in the product UI before you use it.

Free-tier tools (notably background removal) apply a daily usage quota per IP address to keep the service free and abuse-resistant. We store a per-day counter keyed to a hashed/truncated form of your IP address so we can count uses — not to receive or store your photo. This record is not linked to your identity and is retained only long enough to enforce the daily limit (auto-expires).

If you sign in, we use email-based magic links (sent via Resend) or Google OAuth. We store your email address and, if applicable, points/credit balance associated with your account. We never sell your data to third parties.

We use a minimal session cookie for sign-in state and a locale preference cookie. If analytics are enabled, we use aggregate, privacy-respecting page-view analytics — no cross-site ad tracking.

We rely on infrastructure providers (Cloudflare for hosting/storage, Resend for transactional email, Google for optional sign-in) who process data strictly to provide those services to us, under their own privacy policies.

You can request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us at support@image2tool.com. We will remove personal data we hold about you except where retention is required by law.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
